Wagon Wheel Mound farm raises mini zebu, and wheat on 1200 acres in Central Oklahoma. We are three miles south of Historic Route 66, and thus zebu produced by Wagon Wheel Mound are named after historic sites and towns along the Mother Road.

Zebu - Zebu are the only true miniature cattle. All of our fabulous little creatures are registered with AMZA and IMZA. Although we are new to the raising of mini zebu, we love our herd and are looking forward to raising paint, red and grey zebu calves.
History : Wagon Wheel Mound farm has been in our family since the Oklahoma land drawing in 1909. During the migration to the Western US, the California Road, helped move many people to their new homes and dreams. The California Road passed along the southern part of this historic farm.

In the 1980's, Red and Ann Gillingham returned to the farm, and set out to preserve this history. The farm was officially named Wagon Wheel Mound, and the structures that have been added since then incorporated a wagon wheel into their design.

An impressive Christmas Light display was started that highlighted the trail and those that traveled on it.

Red and Ann have since passed, but the historical significance remains. The farm is owned and operated by their daughter Dava Carnell, and her husband Les;  their granddaughter Brandy and her husband Juan. Their great grand children John and Elvira enjoy the farm and taking care of the mini zebu.
